Birthday Party...take two!
On Sunday, the 12th of December we celebrated Anthony's 2nd birthday with the family. He, again, was sung Happy Birthday and loved it. And had many great gifts!

My Little Boy is 2...
BIRTHDAY PARTY #1
This year we decided to have 2 parties, one for friends and one for family. It was at our house (which is much smaller than my in-laws house...where we had it last yr) and I couldn't fit everyone in my house. Saturday my little boy turned 2...I can't believe it. He is growing up soooo fast! Just seems like yesterday he was still in his crib and crawling around. It has been so much fun raising him. He keeps Robby and I on our toes and laughing all the time! Saturday the 11th was his actual birthday. We invited a couple of his friends at daycare and some of our friends as well. We had a pretty good turnout...but we missed you Richard's family! Anthony had a very good time and loved getting so much attention. He got lots of great presents and had a good time playing with everyone. Here are some pictures of party #1

All Aboard the Christmas train!
Friday night we took Anthony out to ride the local Christmas train. It was the first year we've gone and won't be the last!!! It was absolutely wonderful. It's an old-fashioned train ride through their winter wonderland. It has over 175,000 lights...a very inexpensive family night!!! Only 4 dollars a ticket and Anthony was free. My mom also went with us. Anthony just LOVED riding the train and didn't want to get off. Inside they had shopping, coffee, Santa, live music, a HUGE train display, and yummy pizza. A wonderful family experience!

Anthony loved the train ride!

Week 28 Check-up
Yesterday I went for my 28th week check-up. Everything looked good again...thanks be to God! My weigh in was a little more than I wanted but ... whatever! I just need to get over the fact that I'm going to be bigger this pregnancy than the last...yikes! Already thinking about HOW to get it off. Hopefully this time around the breast feeding will go smoother and the lbs. will shed fast :)
Baby Avery measured 31 weeks and I'm only 28 1/2...not sure what that means (guess she's going to be a big baby girl) I've still got 10 weeks left and I'm already feeling like my belly can't stretch anymore. I now go every 2 weeks to see the doctor. Should find out next visit or the next when my date will be for the c-section. Right now it's going to be around the 18th of February.
As for "little" Anthony...well, he's not so little anymore! He is turning TWO on Saturday! I can't believe he will be 2 already! That went by fast. He is getting cuter each and every day. Just this morning I was on my hands and knees cleaning up tracked-in poop from the dogs (I know that's gross...but it's my life...dealing with two big dogs) and Anthony was getting very mad at me for cleaning it up. He wanted to do it with the vacuum cleaner. He kept saying, "I vacuum...I vacuum" I couldn't help myself...and just started laughing. He is so funny and makes Robby and I smile over and over!
We have a very busy weekend. Friday is SNOW day at daycare and we are taking him on a train ride to see Christmas lights that night, Saturday and Sunday he will be having a birthday party...so lots of pictures to come!
CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ABOUT TO POST THIS BLOG WITHOUT PICTURES!

Santa Pictures
A couple weekends ago it was my birthday and Robby and I went out to eat and to the mall. As we were walking through the mall I noticed Santa was there already! I told Robby we must get Anthony's picture taken with Santa that week...and so we did! If you remember my Santa picture story last year (tried 3 different times and never got it taken) then you would understand why it was VERY important to get this done early.
Anthony did not seem very interested in sitting in Santa's lap, but Robby told Santa that he wants a Choo Choo Train and so when Santa said, "Do you want a Choo Choo Train for Christmas?" Anthony let go of Robby's hand and went to sit in his lap. Although I think he was wondering "Where is my Choo Choo Train?" We didn't get a smile, but that's ok...at least we didn't get a screaming face! I'll take the blank stare!
Went to the doctor last week for my 25 week checkup...everything was good with Baby Avery. Heartbeat was 138. However I did get a call back the next day with elevated results on my 1-hour glucose test. So I had to go in for the 3-hour glucose test...which I found out today I passed! YAY...I can still eat whatever I want :)
This weekend I gave my sister-n-law, Michelle, a baby shower for her little boy, Maverick, who we will be expecting sometime in January. Here are a few pictures that I took...

Mixed Feelings
Well, Rob's team won Saturday night, so we are in the playoffs...congratulations Cougars! I am very happy for Robby, the coaches and the players...but at the same time I'm SOOOOO ready for it to be over. These late nights are getting old. We play Pearland friday night in Alvin...I really do hope we beat them, but then that means another week of practice.
Anthony is loving the football games. Everyday that I pick him up from daycare he says, "daddy football game". I have to tell him "not today". He's talking soooo much. EVERYTHING that comes out of our mouths comes out of his within seconds. Yesterday I hit my new sunglasses on the car as I was putting Anthony in his seats...and said "SHIT" then that little mouth said "SHIT" and he laughed (like he knew it was a bad word), then he repeated it again. We have to really watch what we say.
I can't believe Anthony is going to be 2 years old next month. He is growing up so fast. He is such a 'little' boy now. He just seems so grown up. He will be moving from his toddler bed to a full size bed in a couple weeks. We are moving him to the guest room with the big bed so that baby Avery can have the nursery. I've already bought his bedding, curtains, etc for the room. We are going to try and make it wonderful for him so he will be ok with the transition.

Trick-or-treat...
can I come in? Yes, that's right. Anthony didn't quite understand that you needed to stop at the front door then turn around and walk away. Instead I had to go into about 3 houses to get him. I had my 10 year old niece walk to the doors with him so Robby, Cici, Nanny, and I stayed back to watch otherwise I wouldn't have let him enter into peoples homes. It was pretty funny.
I knew it would take Anthony a while to walk around the neighborhood so we decided to only go on one street. Well, that took a while too! So Robby tried to carry him from door to door...OH NO...that was not going to happen according to Anthony. He kept yelling "my walking, my walking" It was so cute how he said it. I guess we are getting into the 'independent' stage...Anthony wants to do EVERYTHING by himself! And if Robby and I accidentally do it for him...we have a break down.
Here are some pictures of Anthony (my little Monkey) and his cousin Cheyenne (our little bumblebee)

Can I come in???
Anthony with his friend, Kendal...isn't she so cute!
He got the hang of holding out his bag pretty fast.
As for our little one growing inside me...everything seems to be going well. I can feel her kicking and punching A LOT NOW! Today she was pushing on my tummy and I could see the bump sticking out...it was crazy. I love it!!! I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but Robby and I are leaning towards the name AVERY BELLE DESANTO. We like that it starts with an A and it ends with a Y like all of our names. It's not set in stone but is very likely considering we call her Avery already. Here are some cute things I've bought her so far...
Her little backpack
Bloomers and matching head bow...I'll have professional pics taken in this
My mom brought this to me. It's an SFA dress that I had bought my nieces when they were babies...now my little will get to wear it!

Is it really amost over...
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...football season is coming to an end. I haven't been blogging much about our games, but Rob's team has been doing quite well. We won our first 4 zone games (we are divided into 2 zones since our district is so big). However, last Saturday night we lost against Hightower...Grrr! This Saturday we play Elkins High School...I pray that we beat them. After this weekend we have one more scheduled game...YAY! Then it's the first round of playoffs...which I'm sure we go to at least round one...we usually do. As much as I would love to have my husband back, I would love to see the team go to at least round 2 or 3 of the playoffs. Here are some pictures of last weekend at the game. Rob's sister and husband were in visiting.

Monday I had my prenatal checkup. Everything was good. Heartbeat was 140. Robby and I have been calling the baby girl Avery. So guess that will be her name unless we change it. We still have 3 1/2 months to change our mind.
