Santa Pictures

A couple weekends ago it was my birthday and Robby and I went out to eat and to the mall. As we were walking through the mall I noticed Santa was there already! I told Robby we must get Anthony's picture taken with Santa that week...and so we did! If you remember my Santa picture story last year (tried 3 different times and never got it taken) then you would understand why it was VERY important to get this done early.

Anthony did not seem very interested in sitting in Santa's lap, but Robby told Santa that he wants a Choo Choo Train and so when Santa said, "Do you want a Choo Choo Train for Christmas?" Anthony let go of Robby's hand and went to sit in his lap. Although I think he was wondering "Where is my Choo Choo Train?" We didn't get a smile, but that's ok...at least we didn't get a screaming face! I'll take the blank stare!

Went to the doctor last week for my 25 week checkup...everything was good with Baby Avery. Heartbeat was 138. However I did get a call back the next day with elevated results on my 1-hour glucose test. So I had to go in for the 3-hour glucose test...which I found out today I passed! YAY...I can still eat whatever I want :)

This weekend I gave my sister-n-law, Michelle, a baby shower for her little boy, Maverick, who we will be expecting sometime in January. Here are a few pictures that I took...

Mixed Feelings

Well, Rob's team won Saturday night, so we are in the playoffs...congratulations Cougars! I am very happy for Robby, the coaches and the players...but at the same time I'm SOOOOO ready for it to be over. These late nights are getting old. We play Pearland friday night in Alvin...I really do hope we beat them, but then that means another week of practice.

Anthony is loving the football games. Everyday that I pick him up from daycare he says, "daddy football game". I have to tell him "not today". He's talking soooo much. EVERYTHING that comes out of our mouths comes out of his within seconds. Yesterday I hit my new sunglasses on the car as I was putting Anthony in his seats...and said "SHIT" then that little mouth said "SHIT" and he laughed (like he knew it was a bad word), then he repeated it again. We have to really watch what we say.

I can't believe Anthony is going to be 2 years old next month. He is growing up so fast. He is such a 'little' boy now. He just seems so grown up. He will be moving from his toddler bed to a full size bed in a couple weeks. We are moving him to the guest room with the big bed so that baby Avery can have the nursery. I've already bought his bedding, curtains, etc for the room. We are going to try and make it wonderful for him so he will be ok with the transition.

Here is a picture of Avery's bedding/theme:

Here are some funny miscellanious pictures of Anthony:

This is funny, I told Anthony to go to the bathroom and get in the bath because I had already started the water. He ran in there, while I was doing something in the kitchen. I hurried up to get in there so I could take off his clothes and diaper...well...at least he minded me when I said to go get in the bath!

This is another funny story. Anthony was trying to start his truck with his play keys. He kept putting them in the side of the truck (guess he sees me doing it in my car). I told him that daddy would have to make him a hole for his keys. Well, when daddy got home from work Anthony kept saying "daddy fix it" So Rob had to get out the drill and make a hole for his keys.

Trick-or-treat...

can I come in? Yes, that's right. Anthony didn't quite understand that you needed to stop at the front door then turn around and walk away. Instead I had to go into about 3 houses to get him. I had my 10 year old niece walk to the doors with him so Robby, Cici, Nanny, and I stayed back to watch otherwise I wouldn't have let him enter into peoples homes. It was pretty funny.

I knew it would take Anthony a while to walk around the neighborhood so we decided to only go on one street. Well, that took a while too! So Robby tried to carry him from door to door...OH NO...that was not going to happen according to Anthony. He kept yelling "my walking, my walking" It was so cute how he said it. I guess we are getting into the 'independent' stage...Anthony wants to do EVERYTHING by himself! And if Robby and I accidentally do it for him...we have a break down.

Here are some pictures of Anthony (my little Monkey) and his cousin Cheyenne (our little bumblebee)

Can I come in???
Anthony with his friend, Kendal...isn't she so cute!
He got the hang of holding out his bag pretty fast.

As for our little one growing inside me...everything seems to be going well. I can feel her kicking and punching A LOT NOW! Today she was pushing on my tummy and I could see the bump sticking out...it was crazy. I love it!!! I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but Robby and I are leaning towards the name AVERY BELLE DESANTO. We like that it starts with an A and it ends with a Y like all of our names. It's not set in stone but is very likely considering we call her Avery already. Here are some cute things I've bought her so far...

Her little backpack
Bloomers and matching head bow...I'll have professional pics taken in this
My mom brought this to me. It's an SFA dress that I had bought my nieces when they were babies...now my little will get to wear it!
