Memorial Weekend Part II

We had a very busy weekend at the beach on Memorial weekend so I wanted to post day 2 at the beach. The kids played very hard and slept very good!

Isn't it funny how they always want to play with someone elses toys instead of the ones you bring!
Of course it's our girl that is interested in the crabs and seaweed!
Cousin Maverick loved the crabs too!
Playing Hard!!! And check out the seaweed...worst I've seen it in the 14 years I've been going to Bolivar. We could not even get over it to get to the water!
This is our side of the Bolivar Peninsula. We are not on the Crystal Beach side, but the Intercoastal Canal where all the HUGE barges go by. I absolutely love it. The water is calm, right in front of the house, and believe it or not watching the barges is the most peaceful thing (while drinking your morning coffee). This is our little 'mini' beach in front of our house.
Here she is!!! Bought in 1974. This camp was orginally low to the ground, then built up and moved back from the water (b/c the land was deteriorating from the water). And even after IKE it's still standing! We are very lucky to have this place.
Mommy getting some kisses from the little girl!
Robby and brother-n-law, Matt, coming back from wadding!
 So serious...like her mommy!
So silly...like I'm not sure who!
Paci time...babies are getting tired!
Robby and Matt trying to catch something!

We had fun as always...there are more Bolivar trips to come.

Memorial Weekend at Bolivar

Last weekend was the first of hopefully several trips to our bay house in Bolivar. We had tons of fun. Anthony kept asking if we were at the beach yet and that started not far from south Dallas. We spent many hours at the beach, took boat rides, went fishing, swam, shell searched, and ate lots of yummy food. I took about 200 pictures so I will have to weed through them and probably post a few different blogs. Enjoy...

There will be more to come. I have day 2 at the beach and other pictures at the house too. Those will be tomorrow.

Mother's Day 2012 and more...

Since I don't have much time to blog I've got to post several events at a time. Most of the pictures are on Mother's day. The other pictures are just misc. pictures. I have been trying to take many pictures since I've gotten my new Canon...love it!!!

Mother's day was wonderful. A couple months ago Anthony asked me one day, as I was watching him ride his bike, "mom, where's your bike?" Of course I said I didn't have one. He said that I needed to buy a bike. I told Robby the story and I guess it stuck b/c for Mother's day I got a cruiser. It is a bike I thought I'd NEVER ever buy...totally not me...but so so so fun! I love it. It even has a seat on the back for Avery. Now we can go for bike rides on the trails in our neighborhood. It was the perfect gift!

I have very good yard workers. Avery loves to spread the mulch all over the sidewalk!
Making Mommy's beds pretty
Anthony has always been a book lover...he loves to sit and read (or make up his story)
He even does pretty good without yelling at sister for dumping all the books out and sitting in the book basket :)
She loves her brother!!!

Easter 2012

Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you some of our wonderful Easter moments. We had a great Easter this year. The kids are older and actually hunted for eggs and got excited about Peter Cotton Tail leaving an Easter basket with goodies! Well, Anthony got excited! They are growing up so fast. I love taking pictures of them...just never seem to get the chance to sit and upload pictures for yall to see. I hope you enjoy them...

How come Anthony is surrounded by all the girls??

The Easter Bunny knew exactly what Avery and Anthony wanted...a soccer ball and a bubble machine for the summer. Both of them loved their new toys.

The kids did a great job dying eggs!

We probably told Anthony we would call the Easter bunny to come get
his soccer ball if he didn't smile...it worked!!!
